I went with my boyfriend to eat some hot pot! I was very happy with the sauce options, free sides, and ice cream! The sesame balls were my favorite as a pre-appetizer We ordered All You Can Eat with half tomato pot and half spicy pot. Both were amazing! You get 3 rounds of all you can eat order but we were full after the 2nd round (haha)! The premium selection of meat and vegetables were superb too. We ordered meat balls, mushrooms, spam, seaweed, bok choy, and had the beef slices. Everything was fresh! I have to mention.. be careful with the spicy hot pot because it gets spicier the more it boils! Haha! Will definitely be back!
Their ayce - A dollar more expensive per person than the SG branch and only 90 mins free parking across the street. But... Their pasadena location offers a small selections of sweets (fried sesame ball, orange slices, and soft serve ice cream) as part of their menu by the sauce bar. A bit short staffed when we we first arrived (one person manning the entire restaurant for the first half hr). But overall the foods were solid. The service improved once more ppl arrived. Would come back for more hot pot goodness.
Great location and super clean inside. Staff was friendly and attentive. Broths were so-so. The milky bone broth wasn't super flavorful but the spicy broth was delicious. They add A LOT of chili oil to the spicy broth so I will probably ask for less next time. The all you can eat option seems to be a better deal than the a la carte option. They offer a variety of veggies, meats, seafood, and noodles. I highly recommend the Mongolian Kimchi....it was sweeter than Korean Kimchi and included cabbage, carrots, and celery. It was absolutely delicious and I wish I could order a whole bowl of it to go. The sweeter kimchi was a nice balance with the spicy broth. They also offer a variety of sauces, dessert, and soft serve ice cream.
I've been here around 5 times already but finally came around to writing a review. If you've never had Little Sheep's original milky marrow broth you are missing out! It's a flavor that you really don't forget and is a must try for first timers. The premium meat cuts are great! Tender and quick to cut, I would recommend just the top two lamb and beef choices. The other's can be a bit tough. In the winter season you can get AYCE any day of the week. If you have a bigger appetite I'd recommend AYCE over a la carte since it's more bang for your buck. I tried the tomato broth my most recent time here and it was a lot better than I anticipated. It tastes lighter than the original so it balances well. If you've never tried it before I'd also like to recommend these two items! Chrysanthemum (Tong Ho) Wood Ear Mushrooms
Super tasty. It was clean. Clean meats. Good service. I highly recommend for hot pot!
